What I collect, and what I do with it.
Plain language, no legal padding. If anything here is unclear, write to georgefielder@gmail.com and I will explain it.
What I collect
Only what you type into a form on this site: your name, your email address, your business name if you give it, your telephone number if you give it, and whatever you write in the message box.
The site also uses Google Analytics, which records anonymous information about how pages are used — which page was opened, roughly where in the world the visitor was, and what kind of device. I do not use it to identify anyone.
What I do with it
- I read it and reply to you. That is the only purpose.
- It arrives in my own mailbox and is not entered into any other system.
- I do not sell it, rent it, trade it or share it with anybody.
- I do not add you to a mailing list, and I do not send marketing email to it.
- Nothing you send through this site is used to train a model.
How long I keep it
If you are asking about work, the message is kept with the project records. Where work turns into an invoice, the business records — including the correspondence behind them — are kept for six years, because tax law requires it. If nothing comes of the enquiry, you can ask me to delete it at any time and I will.
Your choices
- Write to georgefielder@gmail.com to ask what I hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted.
- Analytics can be switched off for this site in your own browser: open datavisionstudios.com/?ga=off once and nothing further is recorded. ?ga=on turns it back on.
- The forms on this site are the only way information reaches me. I send no email to anyone who has not written to me first.
Who I am

This page describes how I handle information in practice. It is written plainly rather than in legal language, and it has not been settled by a lawyer — if you need a form of wording for your own records, ask me and I will provide it.
